Our half term started with a trip to Crockford Bridge Farm to buy some pumpkins {and attempt to take cute photos of Poppy surrounded by the biggest squash you ever did see!}

Last year we made the same trip and I have a feeling that it may well become an Autumn half term tradition.

Poppy loved all the pumpkins, although the temptation to throw the little ones, shouting 'ball',  became a bit too tempting at times; thankfully I was quick enough to catch the flying munchkins and no one was in their flight path.

There were so many to pick from, all shapes and sizes, bobbly and smooth, white, green and orange-we were spoilt for choice. It was a lovely afternoon of finding our perfect pumpkin; as well as trying to get a picture of Poppy not trying to re-arrange the display of veg that was set up for our own little pumpkins to sit on, for that perfect autumnal picture.

This was when we went last year....

...and this is our Poppet this year

Here are a few more from our pumpkin picking afternoon:

"Ooo heavy!"
